Michelle Obama takes Twitter by storm on Tanzania leg of Africa tour, spending the day managing the account usually run by her staff


Michelle and the rest of the Obama family touched down in Tanzania Monday and the first lady thanked the people of the East African nation for a 'warm welcome - music, dancers & drummers.'




The Obamas have been on a three-country tour of Africa.

Michelle Obama arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Monday and said she would be managing her Twitter account, which her staff typically handles. 

Michelle Obama is going social during her African visit, taking over the Twitter account usually maintained by her communications staff.
Michelle and the rest of the Obama family touched down in Tanzania Monday and the first lady thanked the people of the East African nation for a "warm welcome - music, dancers & drummers."
